Art Start
June 4th, 5th, 6th
Unleash the creativity in your little artist. We will use tempera, water colors, finger paints, and a variety of mediums to explore and enjoy the process of painting, collage, and more!
Creepy Crawlies
June 11th, 12th, 13th
Kids can't resist learning about insects and their habitats. Insects can be found in every environment on Earth. Kids will discover insects by embarking on a Scavenger Hunt on our natural play yard! Join us for songs, stories, art and outdoor exploration.
Outdoor Explorers
June 18th,19th, 20th
Explore the outrageous outdoors! From exciting obstacle courses, to large & small group games, to relaxing walks on our nature trail, kids will be sure to laugh and learn while developing agility, coordination, and concentration.
Oceans N' Motions
June 25th, 26th, 27th
Let's explore the deep blue sea! The ocean covers 70% of the Earth's surface and is home to many creatures. We will look at ocean creatures such as sharks, dolphins, and starfish using books, art, and hands on activities like Ocean Sensory Bins.
Bodacious Bubbles
July 9th, 10th, 11th
Kids will create bubble art, do bubble science, play bubble games, and make a variety of bubbles indoors and out!
Music & Movement
July 16th, 17th, 18th
Kids will move to different beats using scarves, beanbags, rhythm sticks, hula-hoops, and by doing yoga and parachute activities. We will focus on developing confidence, coordination, rhythm, and balance!
Dynamite Dinosaurs
July 23th, 24th, 25th
Let's learn about our prehistoric pals. Our young paleontologists will go on a big dig for ancient Dino bones! Come sing and move like your favorite dinosaur, hear Dino stories, and examine Dino fossils and footprints.
Amigos Spanish
July 30th, 31st, August 1st
Kids will love to show off their Spanish speaking skills learning colors, numbers, and everyday phrases. Through singing, dancing, playing games, and doing projects, Spanish comes alive!
Animal Planet
August 6th, 7th, 8th
Join us as we explore the fascinating world of animals that roam on land. From wild animals to pets, kids will explore the behaviors of their favorite animals with hands-on activities! We will learn animal fun facts like favorite foods, sleeping patterns, and about where they live in the wild.
STEM Lab
August 13th, 14th, 15th
Science, Math, and Engineering fun for everyone! Kids will do interactive experiments and hands-on activities like making a rain cloud, building a stick maze, making nature maps, and more!
Kids Yoga & Mindfulness
August 20th, 21st, 22nd
Kids will stretch and coordinate movement learning simple, fun yoga poses that focus on balance, and breath. We will learn mindfulness practices like belly breathing and create glitter calming jars.
North Star Montessori Summer Fun Registration
Registration
The Summer Fun Registration Form for 2024 is now available. Your child's space will be reserved once payment is received. We accept cash or check payments received onsite at North Star Montessori.
Immunization Record
All children attending Summer Fun Programs must bring a signed & dated current immunization record on or before their first day to participate in accordance with State Regulations.
Drop off and Pick Up
Staff will go over brief questionnaire regarding the health of the child as well as the child’s immediate family. Staff will use a touchless thermometer to take the temperature of the child(ren).
Lunch
Kids pack a sack lunch & a water bottle and we provide the smiles!
Toileting Policy
Children must be toilet-trained before participation in all programs.
Withdrawal Policy
The Program Director reserves the right to request the immediate withdrawal of any participant whose behavior is detrimental to the program. Please note that refunds cannot be granted for individual days missed (i.e. for illness, etc.).
